Malaga Airport to the farmhouse

From the rentacar car park leave the airport for Malaga and go across the small roundabout, keeping in the left of two lanes. This will go over the airport road then join it in a right-handed circle. This road heads to Malaga.

After a short drive you will meet the motorway called via mediteraneo. Avoid signs for city centre (centro cuidad) and follow signs in blue for Almeria/Granada N340. The blue signs bear road numbers and a colour flag - you will be on the Red N340.

Go under the overpass on the edge of Malaga and climb the hill going around the city, as you reach the top keep in the right lane and descend the hill on the other side. Watch for signs to leave the N340 for Granada/Cordoba/Seville - red N331 and turn off to the right.

Stay on the N331 climbing towards the mountains. Junction markers bear a number, which is the kilometre mark. You should pass Casabermeja (no. 148) and continue to follow the signs for Granada. You will reach a fork in the road; keep to the right through the pass at Las Pedrizas.

You are quite close to Trabuco at this point and can take any of four exits shown on the map.

The next details are for the fourth exit, slightly longer than the others but very easy to follow.

Continue through the pass as above watching the kilometre markers at the exits and leave at kilometre 7. Turn right at the bottom of the slipway and drive on this road until you meet a CEPSA petrol station. Turn left opposite the petrol station and watch for the yellow kilometre markers on your right. Turn off the road at Km 2 to your left (sign Cortijo Nogalillo) and take the second left by the plastic skips (sign Cortijo Nogalillo), drive on this track until you reach a tiny crossroad (sign Cortijo Nogalillo) and turn left. The farmhouse is second house about 200 yards on this track.
